However, they are still required to pay the related fees.<\/p>\r\n<p class=\"title bold\">Insurance<\/p>\r\n<p class=\"text\">Under Qu\u00e9bec\u2019s Immigration Act, all international students are required to have health and hospitalization insurance and to maintain this coverage for the entire duration of their studies in Qu\u00e9bec.<\/p>\r\n<p class=\"text\">The monthly insurance premium may range from $90 to $100 per person, depending on the insurer. It is also recommended that individuals immigrating with you obtain health and hospitalization insurance.<\/p>\r\n<p class=\"text\">Depending on the institution selected, full payment of the premium may be required before the start of the program or may be spread out over the year.<\/p>\r\n<p class=\"text\">French citizens enrolled full-time in a vocational training center in Qu\u00e9bec are eligible for <strong>free coverage<\/strong> provided by the R\u00e9gie de l\u2019assurance maladie du Qu\u00e9bec (RAMQ), as long as they are affiliated with France\u2019s social security system.<\/p>\r\n<p class=\"title bold\">Payment methods for tuition fees and insurance<\/p>\r\n<p class=\"text\">Depending on the vocational training center you choose, two payment methods are possible:<\/p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li class=\"text\">1. Direct Payment to the Training Centre<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p class=\"text\">If \u00c9ducation internationale has not been authorized by the training center, the student must make payments directly to their institution. In this case, it is important to consult the payment and refund policy of that center to understand the applicable terms.<\/p>\r\n<p class=\"text\">Important: Your support team will inform you of the applicable payment method based on the training center you have selected.<\/p>\r\n<p class=\"title bold\">Transportation costs<\/p>\r\n<p class=\"text\">The cost of a round-trip airline ticket to Qu\u00e9bec can range from $1,000 to $3,000 per person, depending on your point of departure. Depending on the airline you choose, you may also need to budget for additional baggage fees, which can be up to $150 per item.<\/p>\r\n<p class=\"text\">\u00c9ducation internationale has entered into an agreement with Air Canada, offering you several benefits. Full details will be provided once you begin your registration process.<\/p>\r\n<p class=\"title bold\">Upon arrival and during your training<\/p>\r\n<p class=\"title bold\">Settlement costs<\/p>\r\n<p class=\"text\">You should plan to include an amount in your budget to cover settlement expenses. These costs may include connection fees for utilities (internet, electricity), the deposit for your first month\u2019s rent, hotel accommodation for your first nights in Qu\u00e9bec (if applicable), the purchase of winter clothing, and other related expenses.<\/p>\r\n<p class=\"title bold\">Living expenses (housing, food, transportation, insurance, etc.)<\/p>\r\n<p class=\"text\">Here is an estimated monthly budget that an international student should plan for to live and study in Qu\u00e9bec in 2025.
