Update on the situation
As of May 11, vocational training centers will be progressively reopened to students in all regions of Quebec, with the exception of schools located in the Montreal metropolitan community, who should reopen on May 25, if the situation allows.Vocational training students may also continue their learning activities where possible (distance learning, online courses, etc.). If the students’ presence is required on site for practical learning or for certain evaluations, classrooms must not exceed a student capacity of 50%, and any practical training activities taking place must comply with physical distancing rules. The information regarding the gradual reopening may be subject to change according to the situation, public health recommendation and vocational training centers.
To learn more about the reopening of schools, read the communication of Government of Quebec.
We understand that you may have questions regarding the current situation. We will continue our follow-ups all with all our applications in progress, for admission in fall 2020 and in 2021. However, we remain vigilant with the increase in processing times and deferral of admission. We know that the current conditions affect the immigration services in processing applications.
Please know that we are working to provide you with the best possible service. Our goal is to continue to inform you about the current situation so that you can make the right decisions according to your situation.
Unfortunately, we will not be able to answer specific requests of students who are not registered to Québec métiers d’avenir services. We will update our communication as soon as we have new information to share, to help you in your study project in Quebec.
