Begin your study project in Québec

You are ready to begin your study project and want to register? Here’s how to get started:

1. Explore the range of vocational trainings

The first step in your project is to familiarize yourself with the vocational trainings on offer. Look for the course you’re interested in among the more than 100 available. Use our practical tools such as our Search Engine or the Training List to guide your choice.

ATTENTION

If you apply for a study permit on or after November 1, 2024, you must also meet the new requirements applicable to your situation to be eligible for a Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP). Please note that only certain training programs qualify for a Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP). To view the list of eligible fields of study, please visit : List of eligible fields

If you plan to work in Quebec after your training, and your program is not included in the list of eligible courses, it will be your responsibility to explore alternative options, such as securing a position with a Quebec employer and obtaining a work permit.

2. Check admission requirements

At this stage, you need to check that you meet the four essential admission criteria: age, proficiency in the language of instruction, academic prerequisites and financial capacity. See the Admission requirements page for detailed information.

3. Complete the Pre-Qualification Form

The pre-qualification form, available below, is the tool you’ll use to assess your eligibility to undertake vocational training in Quebec. Depending on your answers, you may be invited to continue your registration with us.
