    DISCOVER THE CENTRE-DU-QUÉBEC

    Midway between Montréal and Québec City, the Centre-du-Québec is an economic hub of the province. The diversity of its industries and the entrepreneurial drive of its residents have enabled the region to experience employment growth above the national average.

    THINGS TO DO AND SEE

    The Village Québécois d’Antan (in French only) is a historical village that lets visitors relive Québec from 1810 to 1930 with over 40 period buildings, characters in costume and street entertainment (theatrical scenes, period games, traditional music, etc.).

    For cultural outings, visit the home of former Canadian Prime Minister, Maison-Wilfrid-Laurier, the Musée des Abénakis d’Odanak First Nations museum, or the Musée des religions du monde, a museum focusing on the world’s religions that’s one of a kind in North America.

    The Route to Gourmet Delights, the Navigators’ Route and the Antiques Roadways and Byways are three tourism circuits that give visitors a chance to see the region from different perspectives.

    The Centre-du-Québec Region Bird-Watching Tour offers points from which to watch different species of birds found in the region.
