DESCRIPTION

The Floristry program aims to provide the key elements needed to create original compositions, emphasizing the simple beauty of flowers. Students will learn how to buy and sell flowers, how to make floral arrangements, as well as how to maintain plants and flowers in public buildings and shops. Students use their imagination and creativity, while learning new techniques.

TRAINING OBJECTIVES

Participate in setting up the store space, including the window, the sales area, the cold room and the workshop
Receive and store the flowers and the foliage
Create and sell floral arrangements (for weddings, funerals, and other events), including indoor plants (plant, cactus or succulent garden, terrariums, etc.)
Advise customers of the maintenance of flowers and plants or other products sold in the shop
Order goods, calculate the cost of arrangements, create invoices
