GMAW & FCAW Semi-Automatic Welding (AEP)

TRAINING
DESCRIPTION

Train welders to work with semi-automatic welding machines on steel and stainless steel. The welding techniques covered in this program of study are GMAW (mainly) and FCAW (additional training). At the end of this training, the person will be able to work in different industries specializing in welding.

Duration : 660 Hours

IMPORTANT: This training program is not eligible for the PGWP according to the current IRCC list.
NOTE: This list may change with the scheduled update in 2026.

SCHOLARITY LEVEL : Quebec's Secondary 3rd (France's 3rd) or equivalent
LANGUAGE LEVEL :
The level of language required varies according to the training center chosen.
