DESCRIPTION

The Hair Removal program prepares the candidate for a career in electrolysis or as a laser hair removal technician. This profession is practiced in hair removal clinics and beauty salons. The candidate can also work independantly. The hair removal specialist evaluates if the client is suitable for a hair removal treatment, informs them on the frequency necessary, the duration, expected results and offers advice. They also play the role of receptionist, sell products and services and perform daily management tasks as well as maintain their area and materials.

TRAINING OBJECTIVES

Inform the clients on different hair removal procedures and remove hair from the face, neck or body
Learn how to improve someone's physical appearance, treating a problem of excess hair sometimes due to hereditary causes or endocrine problem, and to reassure a person who has physical discomfort
