TRAINING
DESCRIPTION

Working mainly in the residential, institutional and commercial sectors of the construction industry, plasterers and plasterers pull joints on gypsum panels, create different types of textured surfaces, install cement plaster and install façade insulation systems with plaster (EFIS). May be called upon to carry out restoration work on surfaces, mouldings and old ornaments in traditional plaster as well as the patching (repair) of surfaces with limestone plasters and acrylic plasters. Noting the information in plans and specifications, they must comply with the construction standards in force. It is a construction trade that is suitable for individuals who demonstrate stamina and dexterity in meeting performance requirements. A job as a plasterer requires meticulousness and perfectionism.  

Duration : 810 Hours

IMPORTANT: Given IRCC's current mesures regarding the Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP), it is likely that this training will not be eligible for the PGWP. This situation could change at any time depending on immigration announcements and adjustments.
