DESCRIPTION

Les personnes qui exercent ce métier travaillent dans des fonderies ainsi que dans des entreprises de production et de transformation de métaux ferreux et non ferreux, notamment des aciéries et des alumineries. Les procédés utilisés et les produits réalisés varient considérablement d’un milieu de travail à l’autre. Les alumineries et les aciéries, par exemple, produisent des éléments métalliques bruts comme des lingots, des billettes ou des poudres métalliques.
