
Horticultural production
Production Horticulturists grow and market crops in both nursery and/or greenhouse environments. A Production Horticulturist prepares growing mediums and propagates, grades, prunes and prepares plants for distribution. They also control plant pests utilizing appropriate pest management techniques, and take care of building maintenance, heavy machinery operations, and tooling. Horticultural Production will equip you with the skills to be successful in this rapidly changing industry.
