TRAINING
DESCRIPTION

The student who has completed a vocational training can continue to acquire a certificate of professional specialization (ASP). This specialization trains machinists to perform precision machining of metal parts using conventional or numerical control machine tools, and to ensure quality. Jobs can be found in the aerospace, automobile, plastics and transportation industries. The costs, the duration (in months) and the training centers offering this specialization will be communicated to you once your application for admission has been completed for the vocational training mentioned in the academic prerequisites.

TRAINING OBJECTIVES

Operate conventional and automated production machines.
Solve mathematical problems related to performing machining tasks on conventional and numerical control machine tools.
Interpret technical drawings.
Develop the skills required to manually program and machine simple parts using a lathe and a numerical control machining centre.
Develop the skills required to manually and automatically program and machine simple, complex and mass-produced parts using a lathe and a numerical control machining centre.
