Protection and development of wildlife habitats

TRAINING
DESCRIPTION

This program is designed for people who are passionate about working outdoors. The Protection and Development of Wildlife Habitats program trains students to patrol outdoor areas, lend assistance to people who are lost or in danger, guide hunters, fishers and other users and enforce and apply rules that govern hunting and fishing. People working in this field are often employed by provincial parks or wildlife reserves.

Duration : 1 320 Hours

IMPORTANT: This training program is eligible for the PGWP according to the current IRCC list.
NOTE: This list may change with the scheduled update in 2026.
