We are Keyza and Lorenza, 19 years old from Guadeloupe. In 2015, we received a scholarship from the Claude Emmanuel Blandin Foundation to undertake studies in Quebec at Chicoutimi’s Oasis Vocational Education Centre in Home Care Assistance and Health Care Facilities.

« After completing successfully our training and congratulations from our teachers, we decided to continue and undertake new studies at the same centre in Health, Assistance, and Nursing. We are now halfway through our first year and everything is going well. »

We still live in the same apartment. The owners of the building are very kind. They consider us as their granddaughters. The experience we live allows us to be more autonomous, to discover a new culture, to meet new people with different style, to observe new landscapes and to discover new dishes. It’s a rewarding experience that we wish to share with those who wish to study abroad.
